Brotherhood of the World Summer Basketball Camp


Parents, Participants, and Supporters:

It's that time of year again and we hope you're just as excited as we are to bring to you the 2nd annual Brotherhood of the World (BOTW) 2010 summer camp! Last year's camp was extremely successful and we're excited for the opportunity to serve you and your family again this year. A few notable highlights from last summer includes:

- A skills and development workshops lead by Division 1 student athletes and coaches

- Financial stability seminars presented by a Merrill Lynch strategy team

- Healthy cooking and eating lead by the esteemed A Wellness Association life coach representative

- As well as an award ceremony held at the conclusion of the camp

In addition to the list above, we used feedback from parents and players to improve this year's programming. Those additions are the inclusion of a live band, NBA guest speakers, free cuisine provided, and special gifts to be dispersed! We really hope you will consider being involved this year by registering your child now for $25.00; two children at $40.00, and $55.00 for three children.

We would also like to inform you that Brotherhood of the World’s Founder, Alade Aminu was recently signed to the NBA and is now a power forward for the Miami Heat. Alade is very excited to get the ball rolling and work with the youth this upcoming summer along with brother and future 1st round NBA draft prospect Al-Farouq Aminu.

Alade A. Aminu’s Youth Development Program is a unique "Non Profit" program developed specifically to give our athletes and caring individuals a great opportunity to give back to the community and interact with the youth. Along with the interaction amongst the athletes, volunteers, and children, Brotherhood of the World will provide a variety of necessary skills for their future. Brotherhood of the World is also a big advocate in combating homelessness and helping those who are less fortunate.
